      <image:title>Zach - Zach Booth - Founder and Tutor</image:title>
<image:caption>About me I started The Sensory Booth in October 2025, and it’s been a hugely rewarding adventure. What I love most is being able to support children and young people who need a different kind of educational experience — one that is calm, personalised and built around who they are. Seeing pupils make progress in ways that are meaningful for them, and celebrating those individual successes, is the heart of what I do. Outside of tutoring, I’m a dad to two wonderful girls and I’m married to Megan. We also have a lively working cocker spaniel who occasionally makes a cameo in online sessions and provides his own brand of entertainment (usually at exactly the wrong moment). I began working in education in 2013 as a teaching assistant supporting children with SEND, mainly within specialist settings. Alongside this, I worked as a support worker for children and young people with SEND in the community. I completed my degree in Applied Educational Studies at the University of Bedfordshire in the evenings, then went on to complete a SCITT and PGCE, gaining QTS in 2018 and beginning my teaching career. Since then, I’ve worked across local SEND schools, mainstream settings and specialist provision for children with ASD. I’ve also held leadership roles, including being the Designated Teacher for children in care (and previously in care) and leading the primary department. My approach is confidence-first, relational and practical — always aiming to help pupils feel safe, understood and capable, so learning becomes something they can enjoy again. Qualifications and training include: Makaton Levels 1–4 Elklan Level 3 in AAC Trauma-informed practice trainer (Cambridgeshire County Council) Understanding Autism</image:caption>

<image:title>Megan - Megan Booth - Founder and Tutor About me</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi, I’m Megan. I’m a qualified primary teacher (QTS) and I currently work in a special school. I’ve worked in education for 13 years, across KS1 and KS2 in mainstream settings, autism specialist provision and SEND. The reason I love this work is the lightbulb moment. When a child suddenly realises, “I can do this,” it changes everything. For many children with SEND, that moment can take a little longer — but that only makes it more meaningful (and yes, I absolutely celebrate it like it’s a small personal victory). My approach is relational, child-led and calm. Working in a special school has reinforced that learning starts with feeling safe, understood and predictable. Relationships and communication are at the heart of everything we do — and that includes behaviour. I’m trained in Makaton Levels 1 and 2, safeguarding, and therapeutic behavioural approaches. At home, I’m mum to our two gorgeous girls and family time is hugely important to us. I love being outdoors and trying new things with them — usually with snacks involved and at least one person asking “Can we do it again?” five minutes in. We don’t get loads of time as a couple, but when we do, Zach and I love a good meal out and a chilled film night (the kind where we’re both asleep before the ending… romantic, I know). Within The Sensory Booth, you may see me supporting sessions, building resources, or working behind the scenes to help everything run smoothly.</image:caption>
